LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival of award-winning short films by, for and about women. This season, the program contains nine films – filled with stories of reflection, hope and humor – including: a portrait of a 17-year-old Syrian girl who finds a new sense of courage in a refugee camp; a documentary that explores the power of comedy after prison; a look at the bitter irony many nannies face as they focus on the children of strangers over their own; and many more.
