You don’t have to be an NBA fan to appreciate this video. It’s the most heartwarming thing we’ve seen all week – and we think you’ll agree.
The Utah Jazz already has one of the youngest rosters in the NBA – but earlier this week, they added to it in a very special way. J.P. Gibson is a free agent guard, and the Jazz signed him to a one-day contract on Monday. Gibson, who is five years old, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2012, and is a huge basketball fan.
He joined the Jazz in its preseason scrimmage Monday night – and lit up the court, if we do say so ourselves.
