Sitting in our house on the weekend, sometimes we get a little …antsy. Does that ever happen to you?
Looking around at the walls, the carpets, the furniture and the decor, sometimes we’re just bored. And in those moments, we decide: it’s time to change it up. While taking on any kind of home renovation during the holidays may sound like crazy talk (and we’re definitely not recommending it), there are small edits we can make. New lamps or vases can totally shake up the vibe of any room. A few seasonal throw pillows are a great way to embrace the holidays or changing time of the year.
But if you’re feeling ambitious? Wallpaper. But sometimes that’s a little daunting.
We’re thinking about updating our walls, but weren’t sure where to begin, until we got an expert lesson in choosing wallpaper. Dwell sat down with Jon Sherman, founder and creative director of Brooklyn-based wallpaper company Flavor Paper, to get some awesome tips.
We’ll let them take it from here. Thanks, Dwell team!
