transcendence recap
Saturday night, we hosted a kickoff party for the new art exhibit at Mosaic – “Transcendence.”
Featuring the works of talented artists James Bullough and James Walker, the exhibit is a partnership with Art Whino in two spaces at Mosaic – the Custom Ink building lobby & the parking garage lobby next to Take 5 Boutique.
The theme of the artwork focuses on body in motion through abstract/geometrical studies of skateboarders and breakdancers, with sculptures, photography and murals.
We were also lucky enough to have many of our onsite restaurants partner with Art Whino to provide food and drink for the event – including our friends at True Food Kitchen, who were extremely generous in both their time and items provided.
DJ AYESCOLDÂ provided the soundtrack for the evening. AYESCOLD spins the music she wants to hear, and aims to curate an aesthetic and sensory experience while doing it.
We were blown away by the crowd who came to celebrate the artists and their work with us – thank you, everyone, who spent their Saturday evening at Mosaic!
And, of course, the art itself is stunning. Make sure you walk through both galleries on your next trip to Mosaic!
