It’s easy to get swept up in the “new year, new me” mentality that follows a change in the date. And while we’re big proponents of using the New Year as a mental “refresh” button – setting “intentions” for the year ahead, rather than making sweeping changes under the resolution umbrella, we also think you’re pretty great already.
Want to work out more in 2016? Good for you. Maybe try some new stuff in the kitchen? Make sure you get a cute new apron to go with that Julia Child mentality! But we’re much more in favor of picking a word or words to define your mental focus for the next 12 months. Some examples? “Joy.” “Passion.” “Commitment.”
No matter what you choose – intention or resolution, refresh or maintain – we hope you continue to believe in yourself. You were pretty great in 2015. There’s no reason to think 2016 will be any different.
