Holi at Mosaic

In partnership with RASA, Mosaic invites you to the vibrant celebration of Holi, the Festival of Colors. Following the overwhelming success of last year’s event, we are bringing back the festivities with even more excitement. Get ready for an evening filled with authentic Indian flavors, great music, dancing, cocktails and festivities.

FAQ

Do I need a ticket?

This is a free event; no tickets are needed to enjoy the festivities. However, advanced registration is recommended via Eventbrite.

While registration is appreciated, it helps us understand how many guests to expect. If registration is “sold out,” please feel free to attend without having to register.

This event will be a first-come, first-served. Colors and T-shirts are not guaranteed and available while supplies last, so please arrive early.

 

What’s the best way to get to Mosaic?

Riding Metro? Take the Orange Line to Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro Station. Mosaic is within walking distance (0.8 miles, or 16 minutes) of the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro Station.

Biking? No worries, there are three (3) Capital Bikeshare stations

If you choose to drive, there are many FREE parking garages at Mosaic.

Parking at Mosaic is effortless, free and part of the Mosaic experience. Step out of our well-lit, well-designed garages and explore an innovative urban community.

 

What happens if it rains?

A few sprinkles can’t keep us down. Unless the weather presents a danger, the event will happen rain or shine.

 

Is this event pet-friendly?

We expect very large crowds and highly recommend that you leave your pets at home for their safety and comfort.

 

Can I drink alcohol at Holi?

Alcohol purchased at the event vendors is permitted within the designated event area. No outside alcohol is permitted

 

Can I drink alcohol outdoors?

Yes! Those that are 21 years of age and older can purchase an alcoholic beverage to go from participating restaurant partners and stroll throughout the designated common areas and most stores at Mosaic. Beverages must be in a Sip & Stroll disposable cup provided by the restaurant where you purchased the drink. No alcohol is permitted in any parking areas or the parking garage. No outside alcohol is permitted.

 

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can dance and jump in that you don’t mind getting colorful! The color is non-toxic and washable but don’t wear your finest ‘fit! We will be giving out white Holi in the District T-shirts and color packets on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that you will not be able to choose your color packets.

 

What if I lost something at Mosaic?

Please send us an email at [email protected] and provide as much information as possible. Tell us when and where did you misplace the item, and what does it look like? We will check with our security team and get back to you. We will do our best to reply within 72 hours (about 3 days).

 

What else should I know for the event?
