I dip, you dip, we dip

Don’t look now, but the national day of eating is upon us. Nope, not Thanksgiving. The other day that we devote to eating – Super Bowl Sunday.

Quintessential to watch parties everywhere is the institution that is the dip. Hoagies, popcorn, pigs in blankets – they all have their moments. But each groaning Super Bowl Spread (we’ll get back to you when we trademark that, NFL), usually has one star. And that’s usually a standout, homemade dip. We still dream about a cheesecake dip that capped off last year’s insane, down-to-the-wire game. Well, we dream about that and Malcom Butler’s interception.
