For the makeup, we opted for a natural eye, emphasizing their blue hue with strip lashes. Using these gives off a more neutral look for a hot summer, while creating lush eyes.

To punch it up, we selected a fun color pop on the lip. This summer, think pinks, browns and a bold lip – always a winning combination.

 

LOOK TWO – Beachy Keen

We can’t all be at the beach – but we can look like it. This “beachy keen” style looks like you just walked away from the shore. It’s not a super polished look but it is a perfect natural, fun style.

Her hair was waved (and can you tell Cherry added in extensions?! We sure can’t) and some texture spray was added to boost the beachy look. These curls can be plumped up to add as much volume or body as you want, or toned down a bit for a more relaxed wave.

On the face, Lindsay opted for a bolder, smokier eye, and then a lighter lip with her muted pink color. In the summer you want to have that balance, instead of heavy makeup across the face. The heat calls for a softer approach. And your skin will thank you!

The softer lipstick both gives off a fun summer vibe, and emphasizes her eyes, playing up one prominent feature. Altogether, it creates a salt-curled, sun-kissed beauty look that is the epitome of how we want to look during the dog days of the next few months.
