back-to-school drive

Unknown

It seems almost impossible that it’s time to start thinking about heading back to school – we know that for as much as we gripe about the heat, we’re not quite ready for the transition into fall yet.

But soon enough, we’ll begin to take stock of our clothing, our shoes and our supplies. Our memories of back-to-school season are filled with fond trips to Staples and Target, stocking up on brightly colored folders and pens, an array of colored pencils and a sense of excitement at the new gear we were toting home.

For some, though, back-to-school season is a bit more stressful. Faced with the financial realities of needing new supplies for a new year, it can be a bit daunting. This year, Fair Trade Winds is stepping up to help our neighbors in need.

From now through August 15, they’ll be hosting a back-to-school drive in their Mosaic store. Simply print off the checklist above, grab an item (or two!) and bring it in to donate.

And pat yourself on the back – you’re a good neighbor.
